On behalf of the entire staff here at Lax Kw’alaams Wap Suwilaawksa, we would like to welcome your family to the 2023-2024 school year!
Our staff works hard to give students a very strong academic foundation and is committed to ensuring students have a positive and safe learning environment rich in Ts’msyen culture, language and arts, athletics, land-based education, and as well as other regular academic streams.
We share regular information updates through telephone calls, emails, and social media; and we welcome you to come and see us in person!
We would like to welcome our new teaching staff to the community and to the school:
New Principal- Ms. Darlene Hughes, Elementary School Teacher - Ms. Bea Skog (Grade 2) and for Band Cameron Tait, and our new education assistants Barb Sankey and Christine Shaw who are all local to the community.
